If you are not sure whether to use an agent or not, see how many of the following conditions apply to you. -> You’re unprepared to deal all by yourself with mortgage loan officers, home inspectors, appraisers, surveyors, closing attorneys, and others. -> you’re unfamiliar with the conditions and conventions of contracts and contract negotiations in the community where you intend to live.
-> you don’t know if the homes in the area n which you’re interested in buying are fairly priced or what type or size of home you can buy in a particular neighborhood with the amount of funds you have available.
-> You’re new in town and have no idea about the character of particular neighborhoods, their schools, their cultural activities, or their public services.
-> You don’t have access to licensed home inspectors.
-> You don’t know where to go to get the best loans and the best loan processing service.
-> You’re unfamiliar with the closing process in the state where you’ll be buying. If any of these conditions apply to you, seriously consider using an agent.
