吊 扇在夏天可以帮助冷却房间，在冬天可以使热空气流动起来。LD发了好几年的命令让俺去装，俺怕把房子整塌了，一直拖着。直到有一天她说她一女同事一人就爬 到阁楼把风扇换了。我一急之下，装了俩。第一个花了3小时，第二个花1小时。注意，我的Fan Box可以直接装在JOIST上，否则装法是不同的。

1. Original ceiling light

2. After removing the light (turn off the main power first, of course)

3. View from the attic. Plastic junction box (electrical box, outlet box)

4. Replace the plastic box by a metal junction box (can support 70lbs fan) to the joist. I used the side mounted box, $7.

5. View from the room.

6. Done. Remember: Green-Ground, White-Neutral, Black/Blue-Hot
